Mulda Zeku - Mochila Arhuaca tejida en Algodón Escorpión

Ku'nawa is a small backpack handwoven in Scorpion Cotton by women from the Iku, Wiwa and Kogui communities in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. The cotton used in this backpack is a native species of the Sierra that the Tayrona also used to weave their traditional clothing, backpacks and perform spiritual rituals. Its design includes two "gazas" or straps, specially designed to be carried as a mini tote on the shoulder or as a mini backpack on the back.

This piece features hand-made details in ceramic fired at high temperatures, which gives the clay hardness and resistance.
