Kuku

KUKU is a decorative basket for the home, hand-woven in wool by women from the Iku indigenous community, commonly known as Arhuaca, in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Inside, it has a ceramic plate, handmade in collaboration with the Puntocrudo brand in Medellín.

You can use this basket to place a plant, display utensils, fruits, books or as a decorative piece in your home. Kuku combines a contemporary design with the richness of ancestral Colombian craftsmanship.

KUKU is available in three sizes: small, medium and large, each with a different price.

Important note: Each KUKU is unique, as each piece is woven by a different woman, who imprints her creativity on it. The woven figures represent elements of the cosmogony of the Iku culture, so each one has a special meaning.
