URUMU is a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Arhuaca backpack, designed with two straps to be worn as a backpack on the back. Handwoven in wool by women from the Iku indigenous community, commonly known as Arhuaca, in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and finished with natural leather details handmade in Medellín.
Each URUMU with symbolism is unique, since the woven figures, patterns and color combinations depend exclusively on the creativity of the artisan who creates it.
