IWA is a handmade backpack made of natural leather, with a backpack base woven in wool by women from the Iku indigenous community, commonly known as Arhuaca, in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
Each IWA is a unique piece, since the woven figures, patterns and color combinations depend exclusively on the creativity of the artisan who creates it. Contact us at (+57) 312 895 88 73 to learn about the available pieces and discover the meaning of each design. The woven figures represent elements of the cosmogony of the Iku culture, so each one has a special meaning.
